A family house with authentic charm, a bucolic garden and a remarkable conservatory, nestled 30 minutes south-east of Paris.
The property lies in a town in the south-east of France's Val-de-Marne department, in the Île-de-France region around Paris. The town offers shops. And a bus takes you to a station (Boissy-Saint-Léger) on Line A of the RER regional rail network, to two stations on Line D of the same network (Créteil-Pompadour and Villeneuve-Saint-Georges) and to the Pointe-du-Lac station on Line 8 of the Paris metro network. From all these stations, you can get into central Paris quickly and smoothly. The grand house stands in a residential district near shops.
The dwelling has a basement, a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor. The house has a hipped roof of interlocking tiles that is crowned with a decorative zinc ridge and a central dormer. Its south-facing facade is made of burrstone. The ground floor is raised. The entrance door that leads into this ground floor stands beneath a canopy and is framed between two windows. Three windows with wrought-iron guardrails punctuate the first floor. On the east side, a double flight of steps with balusters leads up to a secondary entrance door, which also stands beneath a canopy. On the north side, a remarkable conservatory looks down over the garden. You can reach this conservatory from outside via a double flight of steps. Up on the first floor, there is a raised terrace. And a garage stands on the west side. On the north side of the garden, there is an outbuilding with storerooms and old hutches.
